As the picture shows, when the bearing bar is larger than 5mm, the average zinc layer is greater than 610g/m2. when the bearing bar is less than 5mm, the average zinc layer is greater than 460g/m2. It should be noted that before galvanizing, the flat steel needs to be pickled to enhance the adhesion, so the thickness of the flat steel is not increased after galvanizing. This cannot be used as a standard for steel gratings.
The amount of zinc directly affects the service life of the steel grating, which is also a concern of users. The quality and requirements after galvanizing must comply with the provisions of GB/T13912, bar grating can also be produced according to ASTM (A123) or BS 729.
